Star Wars fans have long awaited the arrival of a truly great Mandalorian video game, just to have their hopes repeatedly dashed. First, it was the long-in-development hell (but still not technically canceled) 1313, and most recently it was Respawn’s Mandalorian game, which was canceled only a couple of weeks after it was announced 🤯. Meanwhile, Bethesda's Starfield, an upcoming sci-fi RPG, has been gaining attention from fans who have been modifying the game to create their own Mandalorian-inspired experience 🚀.
While these mods are impressive and show just how passionate fans are about the franchise, they're also a painful reminder of what could have been – if only Electronic Arts (EA) or another major studio had developed a truly great Mandalorian game 💔. As it stands, we're left to imagine what such a game would look like, using these mods as a substitute 🤯.
Fans of the franchise are still holding out hope that someday, somehow, we'll get the perfect Mandalorian game – one that does justice to the character and the Star Wars universe 🚀.
